The Connection Between Breath and Mind Clarity

When we try to under stand matters, we think logically. But apart from that, there is the ability to notice the core of th matters without going through logic. In fact, understanding matters depends a lot on awareness. There is a conclosion before logic, and the role of logical thinking is to try to explain that conclusion. The logic is to verify whether the awareness is correct. This function of awareness is called ” intuition “. Let’s listen to the voice of this intuition.

But before that, we must clarify the work of oure intuition. The voice of intuition is the voice of mind. We have to clear our mind. If we compare the the mind to a kite, the lower abdomen is where the kite thread is tied, and the lower abdomen is supported by the hip. If the lower abdomen releases the thread, then the kite will be swept away by the wind and spinning. Because the lower abdomen is holding on to the thread, the kite can swim leisurely in the sky. And the lower abdomen is supported by the hip to hold the kite thread.

By the way, our breath has its own spread around the body. It creates a spsce of breathing, and the mind, which is a kite, swims in this space. If the breathing is stable, the mind is stable, and if it is disturbed, the mind is at the mercy of the wind that blows in the expanse. The space of breathing is centered on the lower abdomen, and the lower abdomen is supported by the hip. The hip is the key to breathing.
Now, the distortion of the breath distorts the work of the mind, but othe contrary, the distortion of the mind can also distort the breath. In fact, this is bigger. Bad sense that is fixed in mind is stored in lower abdomen (肚). It distors the breathing. Our task is to remove the distortion of the mind and open up ” awareness “. Therefore, we try to get rid of the distortion of our mind by exhaling this bad sense.
